FAQ's - 3 Phase - Electric kWh Meters

Q1 – What is a wholecurrent 3 Phase Meter,
A1 - A Meter that has the cables wired directly into it. The meters are rated up to 100amps over that amperage a Current Transformer Operated meter is used.

Q2 – What is a CT meter
A2 – A Current Transformer Operated Meter. A meter that uses current transformers to monitor the flow of current,because the wires or buzz bars are too large to connect directly into the meter. CT meters are rated from 100amps to 2000+ in 100amp stages.

Q3 – What standards are the meters manufactured too.
A3 - The meters are produced within a ISO9000 quality management system and conform to ISOEN 1036. And are all approved Ofgem types.

Q4 – Can you provide tariff and programmable billing options.
A4 – Yes No Problem … Up to 8 daily tariffs and ful quadrant readings such as kWh, kVarh , Power Factor etc etc

Q5 – I need a pulse output, is this available
A5 – Yes all our 3 Phase meters can provide pulsed outputs, in any format you wish

Q6 - How do I know the are calibrated
A6 - We are the only supplier, that provides a calibration certificate with each meter

Q7 – Are they a good price
A7 – Yes all our metering has a low ownership cost !!!
