Card Gas - FAQ'sQ - How does the Card Gas prepayment system work?
A - 3 Components parts are used
(i) BOBi Gas Meter - With Pulsed Output -BOBI Gas Meter
(ii) HE203 Card Reader - HE203
(iii) Gas Solenoid - Shut Off Valve
BOBi Gas Meter -- despatches date pulse to Card Reader apportionate to gas consumption
HE203 - Configures this data and decrements the credits displayed
Solenoid Valve -- Switches off the gas at zero credit

Q -- What is the card value ?
A -- The Card Reader (HE203) is preset to give 55units of gas per card side (x2)
the card is effectively a token. What ever value you set in the card reader, this
is the value given of units each time a card is inserted.

Q -- Can the card values be changed?
A -- Yes the Card Reader is programmable and card values can be altered to give between
1 and 9999 units per side.
Once set the values can only be changed with a zapper reset unit.

Q - Does the HE 203 have an emergency credit facility?
A - Yes in case of cards not being able to be purchased at inconvient times, by pressing
the button on the front of the HE203 an emergency credit can be obtained.
this is taken back when the next card is inserted

Q -- How do I set up the card reader
A -- Full instructions are despatched with every card gas system, but unless requested each
HE203 is preset for 55units per card side (Each card used twice = 110 units)

Q -- What type of cards are they ?
A -- Magnetic Striped cards which are used twice and disposed of

Q -- Where are replacement cards purchased ?
A -- The company operates a Card Bank to ensure security property owners register and
onwardly purchase by mail order or phone.

Q -- What are the cost of the cards ?
A -- Pack 200 = 12p each Pack 2000 8p each.

Q -- Is the system easy to install ?
A -- Yes by the gas meter must be installed by a GAS Safe qualified installer.

Q --  Does the Card Gas Package arrive with all the fittings ?
A --  If you currently do not have a gas meter installed at the location where the Card Gas is 
to be fitted, an Installation Kit will be required.
